After over twenty one years as a teacher of English in secondary schools Bill left teaching in 1991.
His interest in publishing stems from a long-held interest in books, good creative skills, and a love of language and the process of writing. This interest flowered during his teaching years with significant experience in the production of a wide range of school publications—course handbooks, school magazines, newsletters and curriculum materials.
He purchased PenFolk Publishing in April 1998 following five years of part time desktop publishing.
